- How do I do physiological monitoring on the 3Ts?
- How do I remove physiological noise from fMRI data?
- Where do I purchase BIOPAC transducers and other supplies?
We currently have two available physiological monitoring systems on the 3T scanners: a Labview-based BIOPAC Patient Monitoring System and a GE Built-in System. The table below compares the functionality of the two systems.
Labview-based BIOPAC System | GE Built-in System | |
Capabilities | Pulse Respiratory effort End-tidal CO2 |
Pulse Respiratory effort ECG |
Setup Time | 5 min (easy) | 2 min (very easy) |
Recording file type | One text file per scan, or One text file per session |
One text file per scan |
Recording length | Unlimited (but limited by the memory size and hard disk space of the computer) | 25 minutes per recording |
Post Processing files | Physio (Matlab) | PhysioGE (Matlab) |
